Practical guidance for pre-reg supervisors.
Abstract
In the first two papers in this series for pre-reg supervisors, Dixon (2004) presented a 10-point plan for coaching pre-reg trainees and Robinson (2004) presented some guidance on encouraging faster learning. This article builds on the previous papers, giving detailed, practical guidance on coaching and broadening the supervisor skill set to include training. This practical information is placed in the context of relevant theory.
