The Diploma Ceremony is a unique opportunity to welcome new optometrists to the profession, and applaud the achievements of some of the most talented practitioners, researchers and academics working in eye health care today.

As a member of The College of Optometrists you are part of a Royal Charter body that strives for professional excellence in eye health. The Diploma Ceremony is the chance to celebrate your achievements, this year's ceremony will be held at Central Hall Westminster on Tuesday 12 November 2024. Bookings will open in the summer.  

• The next Diploma Ceremony will take place on Tuesday 12 November 2024.
• You will be invited to attend the event in the summer. If you have not had an invite via email by the beginning of September 2024 then please get in touch.
• We will be livestreaming the Diploma Ceremony for you to share with friends and family to watch on the day.
• You must be a paid College member at the time of the Diploma Ceremony to attend.
• You will be eligible to bring two guests at £20 per guest ticket and an additional guest at £50 per ticket. There will also be the chance to request more guest tickets and we will confirm in due course if we can fulfil the request. 
• You will need to book your place online using a link we will email to you.
• You will need to book your gown hire and any photography packages in advance, this can be done during the booking process.
