With the end of the new CPD cycle this year, I have been reflecting on ways to earn CPD points. There are, of course, the traditional methods such as lectures and webinars, with the latter providing the flexibility to watch from home in the evenings. However, when watching webinars you miss out on the opportunity to network and build relationships with other professionals. Sometimes, the post-lecture reflection can be as valuable as the lecture itself. 

Reading articles, such as those in Acuity, can be another good way of earning your points. Articles often have references or further information links, which allow you to dive deeper. However, reading an article doesn’t allow you to ask questions or the article may not cover an area you are interested in.
