We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled optometrist to join our team. As an optometrist, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive eye care services to our patients, diagnosing vision problems, and prescribing corrective lenses or treatments. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our patients receive the highest standard of care. 

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough eye examinations using specialized equipment and techniques. 
• Diagnose visual and ocular health problems such as myopia, hyperopia, glaucoma, cataracts, and retinal disorders. 
• Prescribe glasses, contact lenses, or other visual aids and treatments. 
• Offer advice and guidance to patients regarding eye health and preventative care. 
• Monitor patients’ visual health through regular check-ups and follow-up appointments. 
• Collaborate with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals when necessary. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. 
• Stay updated on new trends and advancements in optometry. 

Qualifications: 

• A degree in optometry Bsc Optometry and fully registered with GOC. 
• Experience in conducting eye examinations and diagnosing eye-related issues. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. 
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. 
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care. 

Preferred experience: 

• At least two years of experience in a clinical or retail optometry setting. 
• Familiarity with the latest optical technologies and treatments.
