Pre-registration placement, Specsavers, Orpington

Situated in the High Street of Orpington, we are the largest opticians in the town. Recently relocated to a bespoke unit with the latest state of the art equipment and multiple test rooms, a contact lens department and dedicated pre-testing rooms. 

The practice offers the full range of MECS (Enhanced Optical Services), encourages further development and our primary supervisor is IP accredited.

Pre-registration optometry at Specsavers Orpington is an intensive, closely guided training time with multiple supervisors on site to keep the training programme in constant flow. We also have multiple DOs on site to potentially guide the successful candidate in all areas of optics. Our philosophy is to understand the journey, to know the "why" and to promote a sense of confidence that allow the optometrist to thrive in all situations now and in the future.

We have successfully trained many optometrists since 2008 with an exceptionally high 1st time pass rate. This is also backed by Specsavers' dedicated bespoke preregistration training programme that is the largest in the country. All fully funded by the store.
